Praises, updates and blessings

It has been a while since my last post, that is because I don't have a pc during the day... soon to be changed! We are hoping to get our desktop fixed and Hans will be getting a computer at work. Well, in our last post I mentioned we got an offer on the house, not a super one, but a workable one. A week ago we got a second offer! So we were able to get the first offer higher and we have officially accepted an offer only $500 below our asking price! I cannot believe it! God is so good and faithful.

Our year for student ministry is shaping up pretty nicely. We have a ton scheduled but are looking forward to getting to know the students. Our name is "REVOLUTION"... our reasoning is that we want the youth to be a part of the revolution at Mount Pulaski! I read somewhere to "Expect great things from God and DO great things for God!" That is what we are doing. The students are excited to start up. Our official date is September 10th... we already have a worship band and we have had 5 sponsors (I think) sign up. Very encouraging stuff.

I have been thinking a lot of God's faithfulness. You know, He is faithful all the time. It does not matter how faithful we are he is faihful. It does not matter what our attitude is, He is faithful. It does not matter what our plans are, His prevail. I am just blown away by his goodness and faithfulness. During the past 20 months, I needed to be prodded to just remember all this, now I see what was in the works when all I kept seeing was the bad. I feel so unfaithful, but I guess it is just how God is teaching me about Himself. The longer I walk with Him the more I realize, I have sooo much to learn.

Well, I am in Indy for one last hoorah before our year starts. We are having fun spending time with family. Due to the schools starting here, we are staying with my grandma! She is a hoot! I am going to have to write a blog devoted to her! I love her and her quirky things. I can tell she is enjoying the company because she and I have talked all day. I love hearing her stories (again) about meeting my grandpa, what it was like on "VJ day", how her life was like etc. Her and I have some things in common because we both look for the deals at the grocery store so we also talk about the price of chicken breasts and bananas! Fun times! She is a good quilter so we talk about quilting and she shows me her current projects.

I was able to go to TPCC for worship yesterday! To see them in thier new building is cool! They are really going to impact the Kingdom even more! What a blessing. Listening to Howard preach was a feeling of home so it was good times. I so enjoy seeing old friends and mentors and students and faces of our life here in Indy. I am blessed to know that they pray for us and are rejoicing with us during all our victories! We love them all!

When we get home we have a ton of pictures to put up of Jonah... he is 4 months old!!!
