10 weeks old!

Jonah is 10 weeks old today! Can you believe it? He is pretty fun right now. He is also a big boy probably over 13 pounds right now! He is wearing 3-6 month clothes, too. Smile... he is happy! Of Course I can't take a picture of Jonah without taking one of Abe...




Beliving God.... well I am doing this Beth Moore Bible Study online called believing God. It is all about faith and I am really excited about what I am learning and being encouraged about our current situation in school. Today's lesson was so cool. I am on Week 4 and it is called "Believing You are who God says you are" Today's lesson was about Abraham and how God called him to obedience and then he waited for God's promises. I don't know if this makes sense to anyone else, but before I started, I just asked Jesus to feed my soul... and he did! Here are just some things that helped me...
1. "We have today to believe God. Let's not put it off untill tomorrow. Failure isn't terminal, Dear One. Faithfulness is."
2. "Obey-Now- and-Receive-Later Challeng of Faith"
3. "If we were already where we are going, for all practical earthly purposes we'd be dead!"
4. "Time can test almost anything and undoubtedly anyone. "
5. "We can be in the bulls-eye of God's will for our lives, and things make utterly no sense until that ugly five letter work LATER."
6. "When the height of ministry outgrows its depth, it will inevitably come tumbling down. Prais His merciful name, we can rebuild, but we are wise when we focus on the depth alone and from that time forward leave the length, breadth and height to Him. As long as the later dimensions matter most to us, we are not ready to build what lasts."
