Before the Weekend is over...

Another Sunday, another day of excitements for the family. We met up with Grammi and Pop last night for Abe to stay with them for a few days. Only having Jonah has made it pretty easy to get out the door. We were gone all day today. We are heading out for CIY tomarrow morning. So we have been preparing for that.

Of course we went to Mount Pulaski this morning. It is getting us pretty excited. Hans gave the communion meditation. He did great! It was really good, and it is always hard for me to hear him speak because I get nervous- more so than him. Part of that is because I (obviously as you can see) am pretty vocal, too and I have to try hard not to tell him how to say it.

I am looking forward to an "Abe-less" week! I feel like a bad mom but right now he is so all over the place. Friday morning, he tried to get his lizzard out of the cage- I flipped out because I will not touch that thing! He actually climbed on his trucks, and opened the cage (which I thought was going to be too hard for him). Two hours later, I kept hearing him say "mom, I feed them" I went into to see what he was doing and he managed to dump a significant amount of fish food in the tank. I'll tell ya', it is tough being a pet to a 3 year old! Mental note... whenever Abe laughs at himself- start running to see what he is doing!

Anyway, I can tell you that you all need to do this Bible study ;o) I am starting to get spoiled because EVERY time I crack open the Bible I feel like it was written just for me! I am not even going to get into it because I could write all night long, but one thing I will say is that I am going to meditate on Deuteronomy 8 this week because it talks about remembering what God has done- especially after you are in your promised land. It is really easy to forget ALL that He has done in times of prosperity and I just don't want to do that!

Good times ahead for us, we'll write more later~~~
