Ministry Update

Hans met with the elders at Mount Pulaski last night. It went really well. They met for almost 2 hours and it sounds real promising. All sorts of questions were asked on both sides. It is actually an "Associate Minister" position because they would like Hans to also to some discipleship stuff with the adults (since he is a Christian Ed. major). He came home pretty excited about it all. He and the Sr. Minister are around the same age and it seems like they are going to be pretty good friends.

From our perspective it seems like a perfect fit. (It really does not matter what our perspective is, though, only God's). They were going to talk about it last night and pray so we can possibly hear from them soon. They may not make a decision until Hans preaches (yikes!) He is anxious and a little nervous to preach/ speak in front of adults- it has always been in front of students.

They were really interested in us relocating if we got the job. We are all about that... it is a pretty cute town. Plus it would be nice to have more space and a house. We need to sell our house in Indy before we consider moving- at least for now. It is funny to think that we came from a church (TPCC) that has more people attending it than live in this town ;o)
