Rainy Tuesday

Today has been spent inside- which usually turns out to be a boring day, but we had a "movie party" with our buddies! The Nimrods and Mollets came over and shared snacks while watching "Hoodwinked". Tomarrow Jonah will be 12 weeks! He is a little chunker. Here, he is in his new Fuzzi Bunz, and he likes it can't you tell! I have been getting into these cloth diapers! They are so soft for his little bum. This is where I bought them, and I am saving up to buy more! www.ittybittybabybunz.com

This week in my Believing God study it is about "God's word is alive and Acitve in me." Here are some key points that I want to remember (taken from the video part)
~Hebrews 4:12 (Amplified Version) "The Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]"
~God's words are omnipotent; because we have been created in Gods image, our words are potent.
~Our words are potent no matter how we use them.
~God desires not only that His children believe truth but also that we speak it: "I believed, therefore I have spoken" (2 Cor. 4:13)
~God ordains that words of faith have more power than thoughts of faith alone: "Say to this mountain, 'move from here to there' (Matthew 17:20)"

As far as Abe goes, he is doing better. Yesterday and today have been better since our "battle". We had to sit down and come up with a game plan. Instead of parenting with "punishment" we are going to parent with virtues and have "consequenses." The virtue that is the most important to us right now is RESPECT! Teaching him to Respect 1- God, 2- Parents and others, 3- Self, 4- property. We are also trying to not yell but speak calmly- the old addage "honey catches more flies than vinegar" seems to work better with him.

I'll write more tomarrow after we find out how the meeting with the Elders at Mount Pulaski went. Pray, pray, pray...
