Yeah I know that I have not blogged in like forever, but I have felt the itch for a while and thought I would give it a try. My hands are always full and I am never sitting with two very active boys!
Jonah just turned 1 and he has been walking now for about 2 1/2 months. He can be compared to a tank! He just plows right through anything in his way and he gets into EVERYTHING... the trash, the pots and pans, the dog food, the plastic containers- anything he can get is chunky little hands around.
Abe is another story... literally, he is a story! He has been telling stories lately and really talking quite a bit. It is always funny to hear his made up sentences... like this weekend when we were laughing at him because he told us that he was going to close his eyes to be surprised- he stopped and said "why you funny at me?" When Papaw asked him on Mothers day if mommy treated him good, he said "not yet", but then he said that we were best friends!
Well, here is a run down of the major highlights since last October:
1. we moved to Mt. Pulaski in December
2. We spent time in Indy during the week of Christmas and jammed 5 celebrations into six days... the six days of Christmas.
3. We decided to Homeschool Abe (I am sure many posts will be about this-- don't freak out, we are taking it year by year... it is not a commitment to graduate him!
4. Jonah bean turned one-- he is called Jonah bean because he liked to jump in his excersaucer like a jumping bean... started out as the "jumping jonah bean"!
5. He finally had his pictures taken... hey two times a year is not that bad :)
6. Hans was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes... about 3 weeks ago.
7. Hans was ordained this past weekend!
8. Hans baptized our niece Koryn this Sunday!
I will try to post more on a regular basis, but for now... here it is.
